Bringing friends onto BAXUS is one of the things you've asked us for most, and it's live. Everything you do on BAXUS, from buying to hunting to bringing in a friend, now adds up to one points total that turns into rewards.
Your friend gets: up to $10 off · You get: up to 1,050 points per friend
How it works
Grab your link. On the website it's under My Account, then Referrals. In the app, go to Profile, then Refer a friend. It reads baxus.co/r/ followed by your username.
Send it to a friend. The one who always asks where you found your last bottle of Weller 12. In the app, tap Share my link to send it by text or email. On the website, copy it and paste it anywhere.
They join through your link. You each get 50 points, and they get a welcome code for their first marketplace purchase.
They make their first purchase. Their code takes $5 off a marketplace purchase of $50 to $99.99, or $10 off one of $100 or more. You earn 500 points, or 1,000 if the bottle subtotal was $100 or more.
What your friend sees
Your link opens a page with your name on it, the offer spelled out and a button to create an account.
Once they're in, their code is waiting on their dashboard and saved to their Rewards, ready whenever they find the right bottle.
The fine print
It goes on the bottle subtotal. The $50 and $100 lines are the bottle subtotal, before promo codes, shipping and taxes. A $100 bottle bought with a $10 code still earns you 1,000.
It has to be a marketplace purchase. An accepted offer doesn't take the welcome code or earn the bonus.
Only the first purchase counts. Under $50 earns no bonus, and a bigger purchase later doesn't count instead.
They don't need to use the code. If they joined through your link, their first marketplace purchase counts for you either way.
Anyone who hasn't bought yet, one referrer each. If they've never made a purchase on BAXUS, they count, even with an older account. The first link they join with gets the credit, and you can't refer yourself.
Reversed purchases reverse their points. A refund or chargeback takes back what it earned.
Your points
Hunts and the marketplace used to keep separate scores. Everything now feeds one total, which you'll find in Rewards on the website, or Profile, then Points in the app. Every purchase earns 1 point per $1 you pay, and every verified hunt earns 10.
500 points: $5 off. Any bottle on the marketplace.
1,000 points: $10 off. A bottle of $100 or more.
2,500 points: Free shipping. One or two bottles, to a US address.
5,000 points: $50 off. A bottle of $500 or more.
10,000 points: $100 off. A bottle of $1,000 or more.

Questions
My friend signed up without my link. Can they still be linked to me? Yes. Have them enter your username at checkout. That links the referral to you and gives them their welcome code.
Can I share my link publicly? Yes. Put it wherever people already ask you about bottles, from a bourbon group chat to your Instagram bio.
Are points the same as my BAXUS Balance? No. Your Balance is money in your account. Points are separate, and they turn into rewards.
Thanks to everyone who kept asking for this one. Go find your next grail bottle.
